RHN: What does it mean?

An RHN is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, a professional trained in natural nutrition. One of the main purposes is to educate individuals and inform groups about the impact of natural nutrition on health. A holistic nutritionist looks at each person with unique nutritional needs and takes into account that we are all biochemically different. By looking at the client’s dietary habits, supplementation and lifestyle choices, it is possible to discern whether any improvements can be made to achieve optimal health and regain energy.

Fields of study of a R.H.N. in Canada are Anatomy & Physiology, Symptomatology, Preventive Nutrition, Chemistry & Bio-Chemistry, Cellular Biology, Pathology & Nutrition, Pediatrics, Sport, Aging, Allergies and Eco-Nutrition.
